MyBizScan App is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

1. Information Collection:

Personal Information: We collect your email address when you register using Google or Sign In with Apple. This information is used solely for authentication and account management.

Card Data: The app scans visiting cards using your device’s camera, extracts the contact information (such as name, phone number, email, company, and other relevant details), and stores it securely on your device.

Contact Book: You may choose to save the scanned data to your mobile device's contact book.

Third-Party Integration: If you choose to connect third-party services, you may share specific data with them. We do not control their data handling practices and recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

Backup & Restore: The app allows you to back up scanned data locally on your phone and restore it if needed.

Account Deletion: Users can delete their account anytime. Upon deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed.

2. Use of Information:

  • We use your personal information solely to register your account and manage your access to the app’s features. Your personal data is used only for providing app services. We do not share your information with third-party advertisers or unrelated services. We may use your data for analytics to improve the app’s features.

  • Your scanned data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers, unless shared with third-party services as per your discretion.

  • All payments and personal data related to subscriptions are processed securely through the Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information.

  • MyBizScan does not offer a free trial for its premium features. A subscription is required to access them.

  • You may share your scanned visiting card data via third-party platforms or download it as a VCF file. Any integration with third-party services is subject to their privacy practices.

  • We do not share any data unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

  • The app uses your device’s camera solely to scan visiting cards and extract contact information. No images are stored, saved, or transmitted outside of your device. The extracted text is used only within the app for contact management.

  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. User Rights:

  • You have the right to access, modify, and delete your scanned data and manage backups or third-party integrations.

Authentication: We support Sign In with Apple and Google authentication. If you sign in with Apple, we only collect the email address you choose to share. This data is not shared with third parties.

Third-Party Integrations: If you connect external services, their privacy policies govern data usage.

11. App Tracking for Analytics:

  • The app uses Firebase Analytics to track user interactions, such as card scans, for app improvement.

  • No personally identifiable information is collected or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

  • Users can opt out of analytics tracking in their device settings under Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
